WECERT is the oldest and the most reliable eco-friendly certification institution in Korea: the 2nd eco-friendly certification institution from the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service (NAQS) in 2002; the 2nd eco-friendly aquatic certification institution from the National Fishery Products Quality Management Service in 2020; and in 2022, it was designated as the No. 1 antibiotic-free livestock products certification institution. Recently, WECERT is expanding its certification service to the vegan (WECERT Vegan) field.
WECERT received ISO17065 and IFOAM certification for the first time in Korea in 2006. At present, WECERT provides numerous international certification services including IFOAM certification, US (USDA-NOP), Europe (EU), Japan (JAS) and China (GB/T19630-2019) certifications, etc. In addition, WECERT is expanding certification services to the entire global village by establishing a close network with leading overseas certification organizations.
NAQS has selected WECERT as an excellent institution for four consecutive years in the rating evaluation system since 2018. In addition, WECERT leads smart authentication by introducing a clouding system for the first time in Korea in 2019.
